Multi-award-winning songstress-songwriter Angie Stone has died at the age of 63. The legendary singer died on the morning of March 1 in a fatal car accident. She and members of her band were heading back to Atlanta from a gig the night before in Mobile, Ala., when an 18-wheeler truck struck Stone’s Sprinter, causing it to flip over three times. She was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. Said her children, Diamond Stone and Michael Archer, “Never in a million years would we ever expect to get this horrible news. Our mother is and will always be our everything.
