Items from the estate of Harry Belafonte are going up for auction at Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies on Thursday, Mar. 6.
The auction, “Harry Belafonte: A Man of Action,” takes place live in Los Angeles, Calif., and online at juliensauctions.com. It contains some 377 objects, including letters, manuscripts, concert and movie photos, and personal items. The varied assortment of items reflects Belafonte’s life as an artist and committed Black activist.
