The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Columbia Climate School, Con Edison, and Small Business Administration, cordially invites you to its 6th bi-annual Climate & Environmental Justice Conference.  In celebration of Earth Day, this pre-Earth Day conference addresses the most important health related issues that arise from climate change and the disproportionate impact on the physical and mental health of people and communities of color. 

It will take place at 5:30 PM, Monday, April 21, 2025, at The Forum at Columbia University, 601 West 125th Street, 2nd Floor. The event will be held at the The Lee C. Bollinger Forum – 2nd floor Foyer on the corner of 125th Street and Broadway Columbia University: Manhattanville campus.

Moderated by Daniel A. Zarrilli, Chief Climate & Sustainability Officer, Columbia University, panelists will include Dr. Jeffrey Shaman, Professor of Climate & Environmental Health Sciences, Columbia Climate School; Dr. Joan Culpepper-Morgan, Chief of Gastroenterology, Harlem Hospital; Rohit Aggarwala, SIPA- Columbia; and Venetia Lannon, Vice President, Con Edison.   

This is the sixth in a series of conferences kicked off on Earth Day 2022 at Columbia University, which have been produced through a collaboration between The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce and Columbia Climate School. Two conferences are held each year in Central Harlem: the first at Columbia University in April, and the second in August during HARLEM WEEK at the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building.
