Michelle Obama is scheduled to make her first appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show, “Sherri,” on Thursday, November 6, after making a stop at BAM on November 5, for an onstage conversation and podcast taping with Tracee Ellis Ross. The former First Lady will discuss her new book, “The Look,” a celebration of style, beauty, self-expression, and confidence. Featuring over 200 photographs, “The Look” traces Mrs. Obama’s evolution and views how fashion and presentation have shaped her journey in the White House and beyond ….

D’Angelo was laid to rest on November 1 at St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Henrico, Virginia. The neo-soul crooner passed away on October 14 at the age of 51 at Sloane Kettering Hospital in New York City. Gospel great Kim Burrell sang the opening hymn. Bishop Ralland Robinson delivered the eulogy and closing prayer. It was not well-known, but D’Angelo and Jay-Z released a song together with Jeymes Samuel in 2024 called “I Want You Forever.” The tune was the lead single from the soundtrack of Samuel’s movie “The Book of Clarence” ….

Sean “Diddy” Combs was photographed talking with fellow inmates in the prison yard of Fort Dix on November 1. This was the first time the disgraced music impresario was photographed since his arrest over a year ago. Although he wore a knit beanie that covered his hair, Comb’s beard was gray. The former music executive/entertainer was wearing a standard gray prison sweatsuit under a navy blue coat. Puffy is serving a 50-month sentence on sex trafficking charges. Variety reported exclusively that Gayle King’s current contract with CBS is due to expire in May. There are rumblings that CBS would like King to stay with the network’s news division. This is all happening as Paramount is letting go of many staff members at CBS News and hundreds more throughout the company. There are rumors that King would like to relocate to the West Coast, where her children and grandchildren live. Her BFF Oprah Winfrey also owns homes in California and Hawaii. Stay tuned ….
