Singers Deborah Cox, Estelle, and Vivian Green recently united for the first time to bring three sets of danceable fun to the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx for Ladies Night. Each singer broke out a selection of hits and highlights that encompassed a variety of styles including R&B, reggae, and pop, to the Bronx audience who frequently rose from their seats to dance in the aisles.

Green opened the show, joined by producer Kwame and two backup vocalists. Green performed her hit song “Emotional Rollercoaster,” and invoked a dance party filled with classics songs by artists like Prince and Michael Jackson. After a brief intermission, Estelle took to the stage, bringing a hint of a Reggae flavor to the mix, and often prompting the audience to rise from their seats. Estelle included a rendition of Bob Marley’s “Is this Love,” into her set before leading the audience in a sing along to perhaps her most well-known hit, “American Boy.”
Deborah Cox closed the evening. Backed by a full band — her soulful voice and smooth stylings filling the room and the air with energy and joy. Cox performed hits that included “Where Do We Go from Here,” and “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here.” The audience was all smiles as they left an unforgettable evening — a rare opportunity to see three incredible vocalists from different artistic backgrounds coming together to unite the audience under one banner — song.
