Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo made his Broadway debut at the Shubert Theatre on Dec. 4 as a cast member of the hit musical, Hell’s Kitchen, featuring music and lyrics by fellow R&B staple Alicia Keys, who appeared in the show for select performances throughout 2025. The 2000s pop mainstay plays “Davis” in the hit musical, and will perform at the Manhattan theater through January 25.

“Hell’s Kitchen,” which is loosely based on Keys’ life and the challenging dynamics she faces growing up as a mixed-race artist in Manhattan, explores young love, loss, and class dynamics, interspersed with hit songs from across Keys’ career. Ne-Yo, who brought the world hits that include “Stay” and “So Sick,” adds an interesting dynamic and little extra star power to the show, lending his impeccable vocal stylings and smooth delivery to the musical like gospel singer Yolanda Adams. Fans can expect to hear songs like “Girl on Fire,” “You Don’t Know My Name,” and “Teenage Love Affair” throughout the show.

There are also some videos circulating on YouTube of Ne-Yo, Keys, and Adams delivering a special post-show performance in light of the recent holiday season. Tickets start at $48 dollars, and fans can save on fees by going to the Shubert Theatre box office in person. A limited amount of digital rush and lottery tickets starting at $39 are available at rush.telecharge.com, and you can learn more information about the show at hellskitchen.com
