For decades, the Burlington County National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of New Jersey has upheld one of its most cherished traditions — Greek Weekend, a celebration rooted in fellowship, service, and the enduring bonds of the Divine Nine. Each year, members, families, and friends eagerly anticipate this special weekend that reinforces the Council’s commitment to unity, while giving back to the community it serves.
This year’s Greek Weekend embodied the true spirit of Greek love from beginning to end. The celebration kicked off with a lively Meet & Greet at B-Unos in Florence, supporting a local minority-owned business while reconnecting with fraternity and sorority members through an evening filled with laughter, memories, and renewed friendships. Attendees demonstrated their commitment to service by donating more than $500 in nonperishable food items for families in need.

In recognition of Men’s Health Month, the Council expanded its programming by introducing its inaugural Men’s Wellness Walk at Green Acres Park. The event brought together 35 men representing the Divine Nine and the surrounding community to promote physical activity, encourage meaningful conversations about health disparities affecting men of color, and inspire healthier lifestyles.
The celebration continued with the annual Greek Picnic, where fellowship was paired with purpose. Participants generously donated more than $800 in school supplies to ensure local students will begin the upcoming school year equipped for success while strengthening the Council’s commitment to educational equity.
The weekend concluded with worship at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington, where more than 80 representatives of the Burlington County NPHC gathered in unity and faith. The Council presented a $1,500 scholarship donation, reaffirming its investment in the educational aspirations of local students.
Greek Weekend once again demonstrated that the Burlington County NPHC is more than an organization; it is a family united by scholarship, service, leadership, wellness, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting the Burlington County community.
